EPISCOPAL COMMISSION FOR CREATION JUSTICE OF
MALAYSIA, SINGAPORE & BRUNEI

About Us
Welcome to the homepage of the Episcopal Commission for Creation Justice of Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei.
We are a commission established by the Catholic Bishops Conference of Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei, with a mission to advance justice and resilience for all creation, both human and in nature.
We aim to build a movement of ecological citizens and establish living pathways of creation justice and resilience, inspiring and empowering individuals and communities towards ecological conversion and transformation to build a better, healthier, and more caring and just world.

Decarbonising Malaysia Project
Initiated in 2023, the overall goal of this project is that the Roman Catholic Church in Malaysia promotes and facilitates a just transition to an equitable, resilient, regenerative and decarbonised economy in the country from within the Catholic Church. This entails working from the position of creation/ecological justice and resilience. The project is implementable at the individual, parish, diocesan, congregational and institutional levels in the Church.

PROTEC Campaign
The "Protect Our Earth, Protect Our Children Campaign" is a unique ecological initiative launched by the ECCJ-MSB with the endorsement of all nine bishops of Malaysia. The campaign aims to inspire an ecological conversion and inculcate good ecological practices by focusing on a different theme each year.
